“The Cavernous Grandfather“

My first short-film, inspired by the José Afonso’s song with the same name. Fully produced and realised by me, from the drawings, to the musical arrangement and interpretation. The short is par of the official selection go Porto International Music Video Festival.

SYNOPSIS

One Dictator. One Cardinal. Which one is “The Cavernous Grandfather”? The story guides us through the wake and funeral of this Supreme Leader, criticising the false morals of a moldy Church, and its promiscuous relationship with the State - which should never cease to be Secular.
